What began as a small group of Druze families gathering to celebrate traditions and support one another has grown into a vibrant and organized community. As these gatherings expanded, it became clear that there was a need for a structured effort to preserve our heritage and strengthen the bonds that unite us.
In 2002, a group of dedicated volunteers came together to formally establish the Calgary Druze Community Association (CDCA). Since then, the CDCA has been at the heart of community life, hosting countless cultural events, family gatherings, and fundraisers that promote unity, service, and compassion.
Over the years, we’ve proudly become an active part of Calgary’s diverse cultural landscape, participating in city events, collaborating with local organizations, and representing the Druze community in initiatives that promote inclusion, volunteerism, and social responsibility.

Calgary’s Druze community continues to grow, creating the need for a shared space where people can connect, learn, and support one another. The CDCA was founded to nurture that sense of belonging through cultural, educational, and social initiatives that uplift individuals and families alike.
Our vision is to build a dedicated community hall that will serve as a central hub for our programs, gatherings, and charitable activities. A place where culture, service, and compassion come together. This space will not only benefit the Druze community, but also contribute to the greater Calgary community through shared programs and partnerships that reflect our values of unity and respect.
