Community Hall Project

For years, the Calgary Druze Community Association has relied on rented spaces and borrowed venues to host gatherings, events, and celebrations. While these moments have brought us together, they’ve also highlighted a clear need: a permanent home that truly represents our community.

A dedicated Druze Community Hall will allow us to:

Bring people together in a safe, welcoming environment.

- Host cultural, social, and educational events without space limitations.

- Create a central hub for our programs, from language and music to youth and family activities.

-Provide a reliable space for community members during important life moments such as weddings, celebrations, and memorials.

-Strengthen our presence within Calgary as an active, contributing community.

We envision a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable community space, one that reflects our values of unity, service, and compassion.

The future CDCA Hall will include:

● A main event hall for gatherings and celebrations.

● Classrooms and activity rooms for youth, education, and music programs.

● A multi-purpose area for meetings, workshops, and social services.

● An outdoor sports field and athletic area for soccer, fitness, and recreational programs that bring members of all ages together.

● Green spaces for families to gather, relax, and enjoy community events.

This hall will stand as a symbol of identity and belonging. A place where culture is celebrated, friendships are strengthened, and future generations can continue to grow together.

● Raise funds to build and furnish the community hall and sports facilities.

● Secure a suitable location that is accessible and sustainable for long-term growth.

● Expand our programs once the facility is established, offering more classes, athletic programs, and cultural events.

● Strengthen partnerships with the broader Calgary community through collaborations, open events, and shared use of space.
